Step 2 – Brand Discovery
You will be sent an in-depth questionnaire to help establish your needs, goals, and vision. We will also book a discovery call with you to get to know you and learn more about your brand. Answer any questions you might have.
Step 3 – Project Proposal
A presentation that outlines your objectives walks you through every stage of the design process, deliverables included in each stage, project time frame, costs, and so much more. So you know what to expect every step of the way!
Step 4 – Onboarding
Once you are happy with the proposal and ready to have your dream brand, website, and more. We will create a client portal for you to have as a central hub for your project communication & documents. Then the design process kicks off!
Frequently Asked Questions
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO WORK WITH YOU?
Every Web Development & Design project is unique, which is why we start with a discovery call to discuss your design needs, business goals, and whether we’re the right fit for you. From there, we create a custom project proposal and quote tailored specifically to your vision.
Most brand projects are paid in two installments—50% upfront and the remaining 50% upon completion. For website projects, brand and website combos, or larger branding projects, payments can be broken into 3, 4, or 6 installments. All payments must be completed before the project handover. Our brand design projects start at R10K ($530).
Do you work with international clients?
YES! Believe it or not most of our clients are from all over the world, not just South Africa. Our entire process is designed to fit any client anywhere in the world, the magic of the digital space! Our research for your brand and design process is designed around your target audience and market rather than just location.
How long does a project take?
This is entirely dependent upon client response time and project scope. Average brand design or project takes approximately 5 – 7 weeks to complete, with our deluxe packages ranging a little bit longer.
Are the files editable?
All final logo designs come in all popular file formats, including JPG, PDF, PNG, AI, EPS, and SVG files. Depending on your specific package, additional files may be included for your brand collateral items. All final logo designs will be grouped and outlined set pieces (not editable), while other package deliverables may come with brand touchpoint items that will include editable files – those pieces will always be notated in your project proposal.
What is included in each package?
All of our brand design, website, and combo packages are customized to deliver exactly what your brand needs – and nothing that it doesn’t. Your custom proposal will outline all project deliverables including the number of logo designs, website pages, touchpoint items, and design revisions. Also, refer to our brand design and website design pages to view more details of our packages.
DO YOU OFFER A LA CARTE design SERVICES?
Not at this time. We only offer full brand designs, full rebrands, complete site builds, or redesigns. However, we do offer separate, stand-alone projects to existing clients who have previously completed a brand and/or website with us. We do however have a la carte website-only services designed for weddings, or existing brands.
Is White Owl Right for me?
A brand increases sales. We believe there’s a difference between a design and a cohesively designed brand based on research, strategy, and creativity. There is a difference between a “cool” website and a branded website that connects your audience to your brand and elevates their experience. Small business owners don’t know where to go for branding & websites. It’s either expensive or on the opposite end, cheap with little to no real help.
We are invested in each project and take care of it as if it’s our own business. We firmly believe that your branding and website is an investment which is why we take our job so seriously in creating timeless designs that provides value. What makes working with you different to hiring freelancers?
Although we have great respect for freelancers and we ourselves started out as freelancers, we have found that hired help could end up being unskilled, unreliable, and unresponsive, leaving you and some of the hired help frustrated and stuck. You could have a great freelance designer but struggle to find a web designer or programmer to translate your brand to the digital space ending in wasted money and potential and vice versa.
We believe you need a one-stop hub with a team that brings different skill sets and inputs to the table.
Most freelancers usually have only one skill set. They understand the front-end (design) or the back-end (coding). So if you hire a freelancer, you’ll need to hire and manage more than one.
